Seniors
Monday- No School
Tuesday- Students will read the first ten minutes of
class. Students will complete the
rhetoric triangle handouts regarding the syntactical elements discussed the
previous day.
Wednesday- Students will complete their journal the first
ten minutes of class. Students will
write a five-paragraph essay discussing the syntactical elements in Patrick
Henry’s speech.
Thursday- Journals
Due! Students will read the first ten minutes of class. Utilizing the IPADS, students will complete
theme analysis handout, “Things Fall Apart.”
Juniors
Monday- No School
Tuesday- Students will read the first ten minutes of
class. The class will answer SOAPS
questions for the reading an excerpt from “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry
God.” Students must answer questions with evidence from reading when possible.
Wednesday- Students will complete their journal the first
ten minutes of class. Students write a five-paragraph essay discussing the
rhetoric utilized in “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.”
Thursday- Journals
Due! Students will read the first ten minutes of class. Utilizing the IPADS, students will complete
theme analysis handout, “Things Fall Apart.”
