Junior and Senior Assignments for the week of November 17, 2014





Seniors

Monday- Students will complete their journal and ACT prep the first ten minutes of the class. Then the class will read chapter 7 of Brave New World, continuing their dialectical journal and working in comprehension packet.

Tuesday- Students will read the first ten minutes of class.  The class will complete chapter 8 of Brave New World, continuing their dialectical journal and continuing to work on comprehension packet.

Wednesday- Students will complete their journal the first ten minutes of class.  The class will complete chapter 9 of Brave New World, continuing their dialectical journal and continuing to work on comprehension packet.

Thursday- Students will read the first ten minutes of class.  The class will complete chapters 10 and 11 of Brave New World, continuing their dialectical journal and finishing the comprehension packet.


Juniors

Monday- Students will complete their journal and ACT prep the first ten minutes of class. Students will read chapters 7-8 of The Scarlet Letter, completing the symbol and character analysis in their journal.  Chapter 7-8 character will be Pearl.


Tuesday- Students will read the first ten minutes of class. Students will read chapters 9-10 of The Scarlet Letter, completing the symbol and character analysis in their journal.  Chapter 9-10 character will be Dimmesdale and the symbol will be Dimmesdale’s clutching of his chest.

Wednesday- Students will complete their journal the first ten minutes of class. Students will read chapters 11-12 of The Scarlet Letter, completing the symbol and character analysis in their journal.  Chapter 11-12 character will be Mr. Dimmesdale, and the symbol will be the lantern.

Thursday- Students will read the first ten minutes of class. Students will read chapters 13-14 of The Scarlet Letter, completing the symbol and character analysis in their journal.  Chapter 13-14 character will be Chillingworth and the symbol will be Chillingworth’s evil demeanor.
